This One’s for Dad ∞

With the launch of my latest theme, Aperturious, I knew this one was going to be difficult. This is the first theme I’ve released since my dad passed away suddenly one week ago today. When he died, I quickly began to realize dealing with it involves a lot of difficult firsts. First time going to church without him there. First time having Christmas without him. First time for everything.
For my first theme released without him, I am dedicating it to my dad.
He was a great man. I know he’s being taken care of where he went and I can’t wait to meet him there. I love you dad.

Chris, you and your family are in our prayers. I’m really saddened by the loss of your father. I know how it feels to lose a father and a brother and it’s not fun. Hang in there and stay right with God as your Dad is in a better place.
Thinking of you man. it will be rough for a while, but it does get better. Someone told me this when I was going through it and you will bounce back, stronger than ever when you’re ready. You’re passion for life will increase 10X in the process, take care.

I don’t know you, but I’m so sorry about your dad. I just lost my Grandpa. It’s not easy. My best to you and your family.
I know what you mean. I lost my dad a few months ago and if there is one thing I know now is that my dad is always around. And so is your dad, alwas close to you.
One day at a time, one day at a time.
I can relate with you in two ways, Dad, 6years ago and Mum this Feb. The truth is understanding who you are “I guess you got a good idea of that”.
Then God just does the magic for you. God, God, God…. God
It’s never easy. keep moving foward as your dad is everywhere you go and will give you that boost when you need it. no one disappears, we just change form.

I’m so sorry about your loss C. , I’m an avid reader , and a frequent visitor of your site . I know what it must feel like not to have your dad around any longer [ I cant help but cry every time I think of mine & its been 12 yrs since he passed away on Fathers Day ]. There are no adequate words of comfort which I can say unto you at this point , however – your dad is definitely in a much better place and riding on Angel’s wings ! Peace be unto him always . My heartfelt condolences go out to you and your family & yes, your dad would have def been proud of your new theme ( but I am sure he was proud of everything you do – and he will continue to be ! )

Losing your dad is rough, I know from experience… Hope all is well. Great way to honor a relative, with your work. It is a legacy of sorts I suppose. I don’t think I could create anything that could encapsulate the essence of my old man though so props for that.
